MyJanusRights.org is published to help government employees understand and exercise the rights secured in Janus v. AFSCME — and to put Foundation-won tools in your hands without a scavenger hunt.
We are the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. This site exists to help government employees understand and exercise their Janus rights — secured through the Foundation-won Supreme Court victory in Janus v. AFSCME.
Thanks to that decision, all government employees are protected under Right to Work principles: you cannot be forced into union membership. Membership is a matter of choice. You must opt in, rather than being required to opt out each year.
The prior site buried the form under news. This version puts the letter first, explains who argued the case, and leaves your information on your device — not on a server — until you choose to print and mail.
